About Us
The Community Hall is run by volunteers who are elected annually at the AGM. A new Committee was formed in 2019 and since this time the hall has undergone extensive renovations. To date the large hall has been totally refurbished and the whole building has been completely rewired and a state-of-the-art fire alarm system has been installed. All other areas of the building have been decorated. Since taking over the running of the hall the Committee has been successful in securing several grants to continually progress with the refurbishment works. Ongoing works include the relocation of the disabled access, new doors, windows and reinstatement of the stained-glass panels to the front of the building. Future Plans include a commercial kitchen and new toilet facilities.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Provide a safe, functional facility within our community for members to gather for group activities, social support, public information, and other purposes.
Support and develop use of the hall by the community
Respond to local needs and support local initiatives
Involve the community in decision making regarding the hall where possible and appropriate
