Conditions of Hire

The Lessee will be responsible for the following:

 

• Ensuring that the number of people admitted does not exceed the maximum capacity for each space i.e. Large Hall 150, Small Hall 50 and adhering to Fire and Safety Regulations.

 

• Strictly adhering to the No Smoking or Vaping policy.

 

• Ensuring that no decorations are attached to the large hall walls.  Decorations my be attached to the small hall wall using blu tack only.

 

• No paints, face paints, streamers or party poppers to be used in the large hall.

 

• Ensuring that no persons under the age of 18 are consuming alcohol within or directly outside the premises.

 

• Removing anyone from the premises who is causing damage disorder or disruption.

 

• Ensuring that the Hall is vacated by 00.30 am (with the exception of Hogmanay bookings).

 

• All damages incurred during their occupancy.

 

• Any theft of Hall property during their occupancy.

 

• For Private Parties and ticketed events 50% deposit required at time of booking, fully refundable if cancellation made 4 weeks before event.

 

• At the Committee’s discretion a £100 cash deposit to be paid before the event which will be fully refundable if there is no extra cleaning or damages incurred during the hire.

 

The Hall and Committee will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property incurred during the let

 

In the event of a 21 years and over party booking the person signing the conditions of let form must be present for the duration of the event.

No bookings will be accepted from persons under the age of 21.
